G. Scott Uzzell is the CEO of Helen of Troy, a global consumer products company. His extensive career includes leading iconic brands as the CEO of Converse and Corporate VP at Nike. He holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS from Florida A&M University.
Outside of work, he is passionate about sports, including skiing, golf, basketball, and cycling. He is also actively involved in his community, serving on the board of the FAMU Foundation and as a member of the Executive Leadership Council, which supports the development of Black executives.
He comes from a multigenerational family of entrepreneurs, including his father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
