Gelila G-Michael

Gelila G-Michael is the General Manager and co-founder of Multichoice Ethiopia. A graduate of Addis Ababa Universitys Law School, she has been a trailblazer in the countrys subscriber management services, growing the company from two employees to a major national brand. She focuses on investing in hyperlocal content and local talent.

She is passionate about empowering young talent and creating a meaningful social impact through entertainment. Gelila actively champions initiatives that reflect Ethiopian culture and values, and her public posts show support for womens advancement and a celebration of African unity. She is known for her intolerance for mediocrity.

She grew Multichoice Ethiopia from just two employees, including herself, to a workforce of over 180 people, agents, and installers.
