Deeply rooted in his hometown, Gordon is an active community leader with extensive volunteer experience, including serving as the founding President of the Windsor International Film Festival and on the boards of the University of Windsor and Maryvale Adolescent & Family Services. In 2023, he received a 25-year volunteer service award.
Unique fact: Gordon simultaneously leads both the official economic development agency and the destination marketing organization for the Windsor-Essex region.
