Gowri R G

Gowri R G is a social entrepreneur and the Co-Founder of YellowBag Foundation, a venture focused on creating sustainable livelihoods for women from vulnerable backgrounds. A Masters degree holder from Thiagarajar College, she leverages her corporate background from IBM to drive commerce with environmental and social equity.

Outside of her entrepreneurial work, Gowri is a mother to three children and is passionate about parenting and continuous learning. She finds strength in her ability to solve new problems and embraces having to unlearn very little from her past, enabling her to learn faster now.

After the birth of her daughter, she and her partner quit their corporate jobs to establish YellowBag, aiming to create a better future.
