Harold Calla is the Executive Chair of the First Nations Financial Management Board, specializing in Indigenous economic development and governance. A Fellow Chartered Professional Accountant (FCPA), he was instrumental in developing the First Nations Fiscal Management Act to increase First Nations access to capital markets and create economic opportunities.
A proud member of the Squamish Nation, Harold returned from a career in international business to serve his community. He is passionate about mentoring the next generation of Indigenous leaders and creating pathways for self-determination, driven by a desire to remove the systemic barriers he has faced.
In 2024, Harold was inducted into the Accounting Hall of Fame for his decades-long work in advancing Indigenous economic reconciliation.
