Hayley Wickenheiser is the Assistant General Manager for the Toronto Maple Leafs, focusing on player development. A decorated four-time Olympic Gold Medalist and Hockey Hall of Fame inductee, she simultaneously pursued a lifelong dream of becoming a physician and is now a resident doctor practicing family and emergency medicine after graduating from the University of Toronto.
Outside of her dual careers, Hayley is deeply committed to community work. She founded WickFest, a global hockey festival for young female athletes that promotes empowerment, mentorship, and skill development. She actively supports numerous charities dedicated to ensuring children from all backgrounds have access to sports, like KidSport and Right to Play.
