Hermann Hauser

Hermann Hauser is a co-founder and Venture Partner at Amadeus Capital Partners, a renowned technologist and serial entrepreneur. He co-founded Acorn Computers, creator of the BBC Micro, and was instrumental in spinning out the globally dominant ARM. Hermann holds a PhD in Physics from Cambridge University, shaping his deep tech investment focus.

Originally from Austria, Hermanns entrepreneurial spirit was influenced by his father. He first came to Cambridge as a teenager to learn English and later returned for his PhD, becoming a central figure in the citys technology scene. A passionate advocate for entrepreneurship, he enjoys mentoring founders and speaks multiple European languages.

For his services to engineering and industry, Hermann was made an Honorary Knight Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (KBE) in 2015.
