Dr. Jacqueline Dougé is a pediatrician, public health practitioner, and Assistant Professor with an MPH from Johns Hopkins. A passionate advocate for child health equity, she co-authored the American Academy of Pediatrics policy statement on the impact of racism on child health and founded the digital media company, What is Black, LLC.
Inspired by the inclusive programming of Sesame Street from her childhood, she is a childrens book author and podcaster dedicated to creating affirming content for families. She lives in Frederick, Maryland, with her husband and two sons and channels her creativity into writing and producing media.
