Outside of work, James is an active martial artist, training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and competing in tournaments. He also uses video games, specifically Rocket League on a PS5, as a way to de-stress and relax, keeping consoles in both his UK and Dutch offices.
He founded JLC Distribution at the age of 18, starting the business with a £15, 000 loan from his father.
