With over thirty years in publishing, Jan-Peter Wissink is a seasoned leader managing several presses including Amsterdam University Press, Walburg Pers, and WBOOKS. His expertise spans academic and trade publishing, mergers and acquisitions, and developing books on art and history. He holds an MA from the University of Groningen.
Jan-Peter co-founded ImagePeople, an initiative focused on documentary photography that portrays people and stories deserving wider attention. He also serves as Treasurer for a foundation supporting the historical book collections of the University of Amsterdam, reflecting a deep commitment to preserving the history of the book trade.
He simultaneously serves as the publisher and owner of three distinct and renowned Dutch publishing houses.
