Janet Budd

Janet Budd is the Deputy Managing Director and Director of Strategy at MLCSU, described as an accomplished leader shaping the NHSs future. With past experience as CEO of the NHS Transformation Unit and as a consultant, she brings a wealth of leadership experience. She holds a BSc from The University of Edinburgh.

Beyond her NHS responsibilities, Janet maintains a strong interest in business and management excellence. She follows insights from leading professional services firms like Accenture and publications such as the Harvard Business Review, indicating a focus on cutting-edge strategy and leadership principles.

As Interim Managing Director in 2024, she led MLCSU to be one of only three suppliers appointed to all lots of a major national healthcare transformation framework.
