Jim Davies
Energizer · DISC type IJim Davies is the former Chief Technology Officer at Mitel, culminating a 30-year career in Ottawas high-tech sector. He has held multiple leadership roles including VP of R&D and led initiatives in cloud communications and AI solutions. He is an Applied Science graduate of Queens University.
His primary passion is Farmgate Cider, a family-owned and operated cidery in the Ottawa Valley. He is the cidermaker and orchardist, combining his engineering background with a love for trees to create dry, European-style ciders using traditional, natural methods on his 20-year-old orchard.
After three decades as a high-tech executive, Jim transitioned to becoming a full-time, hands-on cidermaker.
