Jim Lane

Jim Lane is a retired Chief Data Officer for The Joint Staff with deep expertise in defense, federal data, and AI strategy. A certified Project Management Professional (PMP)®, he holds a Master of Science from The George Washington University. His background includes roles at the Defense Security Cooperation Agency and the Federal Aviation Administration.

As an alumnus of both Campbell University and The George Washington University, he maintains an interest in his alma maters. He is currently navigating his professional transition after a long career in public service, exploring new opportunities to apply his strategic skills.
