Dr. John Inadomi is the Chair of Internal Medicine at the University of Utah School of Medicine. An alumnus of MIT and UCSF, he is a nationally recognized gastroenterologist and researcher focused on the prevention and treatment of esophageal and colorectal cancer. He previously served as President of the American Gastroenterological Association.
Outside of his medical career, Dr. Inadomi is an avid tennis player and enjoys building and launching model rockets with his family. During his high school and college years, he was a competitive swimmer and water polo player. He is also a third-generation Japanese-American whose parents were interned during World War II.
He previously served as the 116th President of the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) for the 2021-2022 term.
