John L. Bender, M.D., FAAFP

Dr. John Bender is the CEO of Miramont Family Medicine, a multi-site practice he grew from a small clinic he purchased with his wife, Teresa. He is a board member for the American Academy of Family Physicians and has served as president of two Colorado medical societies, actively shaping state and national healthcare policy.

Dr. Bender is a decorated military veteran, having served as a Flight Surgeon in the U. S. Navy and as an Army Medical Director in Kosovo. A native Coloradan, he and his wife returned to the state to raise their four children. He is engaged in local politics, publicly supporting his son-in-laws political campaigns.

He has testified before the U. S. Congress and served for over a decade in the U. S. Navy and Army.
