Justin Ferbey is a senior Deputy Minister for the Government of Yukon with over 20 years of experience in economic development, public policy, and Indigenous partnerships. A citizen of the Carcross/Tagish First Nation, he has a track record of leading major projects in Northern Canada. He holds an MBA from the University of Liverpool.
Deeply connected to his Indigenous heritage, Justin played an instrumental role in the Carcross/Tagish First Nations modern treaty and self-government agreement ratification. He is a passionate advocate for community-led economic and social development, with a focus on sustainable, long-term prosperity for First Nations communities.
He led a project that transformed Carcross, Yukon into a destination for mountain bikers, which also helped First Nations youth reconnect with the land.
