Jylinda Johnson is the Sector Vice President and General Manager at GDIT, leading teams that provide IT modernization and mission services to over 20 federal civilian agencies. She holds both Masters and Bachelors degrees in engineering from the University of Virginia and was recently promoted to Senior Vice President of Federal Civilian.
She is passionate about mentoring women and STEM students and serves on the advisory board for the Smithsonian National Museum of African Art. Jylinda is also an executive committee member of the American Council for Technology-Industry Advisory Council (ACT-IAC), reflecting her deep commitment to community and professional development.
Her father, also an engineer, inspired her career path, and she was the only Black woman in her undergraduate engineering program at UVA.
