Kanan Mirzayev is the Head of SOCAR Türkiyes Refinery and Petrochemical Business Unit and General Manager of Petkim. An alumnus of Harvard Business School, he is an expert in agile management and sustainability, having launched the companys energy transition and digital transformation initiatives.

Outside of his core role, Kanan has contributed to international energy policy, previously playing an intermediary role in over 20 negotiations between the political leadership of several Balkan countries and SOCARs top management.
