With over 20 years of experience in renewable heat, he combines strategic leadership with a deep technical background from his Mechanical Engineering degree at Imperial College London and his CEng certification.
Outside of his professional life, Karl is an avid enthusiast of remote control cars, boats, and planes. A proven endurance athlete, he has completed the Marathon des Sables, known as "the toughest foot race on earth". His university days also included fundraising for rugby tours to Zimbabwe and Canada.
During his time at Imperial College, Karl helped build a hyper-efficient car that achieved over 8, 000 miles to the gallon.
