Kathryn Ingham is a communications and public affairs leader at The Francis Crick Institute, where she manages specialists in media relations, political engagement, and science writing. An alumna of the University of Liverpool and The University of Manchester, she is adept at translating complex research into compelling narratives and consolidating institutional reputation for scientific excellence.
Outside of work, Kathryn has a lifelong passion for ecology and wildlife, stemming from her degree in Zoology. This passion is reflected in her role as a Trustee for the Freshwater Habitats Trust. She has also volunteered as a STEM Ambassador, an NHS Vaccinator, and with the National Trust.
She was instrumental in a massive project that turned the Francis Crick Institutes research labs into a live TV set for a broadcast with Channel 4.
