Katie Hill

Katie Hill is the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Vital Energy, with over 15 years of experience in the energy sector. Her career includes leadership roles at Javelin Energy Partners, Chesapeake Energy, and BP. She holds both Bachelors and Masters degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan.

Outside of her executive role, Katie has a unique academic background, having minored in Moral and Political Philosophy during her engineering studies. This interest in humanities is complemented by her qualification as a RYT 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher, indicating a focus on wellness and mindfulness.

She was recently honored as one of Hart Energys "Influential Women in Energy" for 2025.
