Katie Moreno, MJE

Katie Moreno is a creative and organized Account/Project Manager with a unique background blending 15+ years of brand strategy and digital marketing with K-12 education. A University of Houston graduate, she transitioned from an award-winning high school journalism teacher to leading cross-functional teams, leveraging her deep understanding of project management and design to deliver high-impact results for clients.

Outside of work, Katie is a certified scuba diver who enjoys exploring underwater worlds with her husband. She is also an avid collector of pins from every city she visits and has a passion for mentoring, which stems from her years as an educator. She also enjoys riding roller coasters and snuggling her cat, Ash.

She founded Organized Adviser, a passion project providing tools and resources to help scholastic journalism advisers build thriving programs.
