Kevin Kimsa is a venture capitalist and entrepreneur, currently serving as a Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Climate Innovation Capital. With a background in computer science from the University of Waterloo, he focuses on growth equity opportunities in the Climatech sector to support decarbonization. He previously co-founded ScaleUP Venture Partners.
Outside of his professional life, Kevin is a former co-owner of the Ottawa Renegades football club and the Toronto Rock professional lacrosse team. He has also co-produced several theatrical productions, demonstrating a keen interest in both sports and the performing arts. He lives in Toronto and is a father of six.
Unique fact: Kevin co-founded Solect Technology Group, a software company that was sold for US$1. 6 billion in 2000, one of Canadas largest-ever software sales at the time.
