Krystyna Kolesar is the Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff, G-8, for the United States Army, where she is the principal advisor on Army programs, force development, and analysis. Her career includes extensive experience with the U. S. Navy and as a Director in the Office of the Secretary of Defense (Cost Assessment and Program Evaluation).
Originally from Pittsburgh, Krystyna has significant international experience, having led Partnership-for-Peace teams to Uzbekistan, Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia. She also studied economics at Oxford University and served as a U. S. Exchange Officer for the Department of Defence in Canberra, Australia.
She was selected to the Senior Executive Service in November 2003, marking over two decades in senior government leadership roles.
