Lara Sloboda is the Director of the Human Research Protection Program at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, leveraging her Ph. D. in Psychology from Tufts University. She is an expert in research ethics and IRB operations and also co-chairs a subcommittee on Social, Behavioral, and Education Research at Harvard Catalyst.
Demonstrating a passion for science education, Lara has previously taught courses such as "Aquatic Life" and "Coastal Botany" at the Childrens School of Science. This experience highlights a commitment to fostering scientific curiosity outside of her primary professional responsibilities.
Her doctoral research involved creating mathematical models to quantitatively measure and separate the components of implicit and explicit memory in adults.
