Laura Mattera is a Partner and experienced trial attorney whose practice is centered on defense litigation. Her areas of expertise include labor law, construction defects, insurance coverage, and general liability. She is a graduate of Fordham Law School and the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
Outside of her primary legal practice, Laura has shown an interest in public and animal welfare. She signed a petition advocating for updated safety standards for chemicals in vehicles. Earlier in her career, she also participated in legal sessions concerning the protection of animal rights activists.
In 1992, she led a legal session for the International Primate Protection League on the topic of intimidation lawsuits filed against activists.
