Outside the courtroom, Lindsey is a mother to a son and daughter and is deeply involved in her community. She serves as an officer on the Board of Trustees for Anshe Emet Synagogue and holds the role of Vice President for The United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism (USCJ).
During law school, she authored a publication arguing for enhanced safety measures for children on airplanes, specifically to abandon the "infant seat exception. "
