The Rt Revd Lusa Nsenga-Ngoy is the Bishop of Willesden in the Diocese of London, consecrated in 2022. A graduate of Durham University, he has a significant background in promoting diversity, previously serving as the BAME Mission and Ministry Enabler for the Diocese of Leicester and on the Church of Englands Anti-Racism Taskforce.
Born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Lusa is married with three children. He is passionate about social justice, ethical leadership, poetry, and storytelling, an interest he inherited from his Luba cultural roots. He has worked with organizations that seek to end gender-based violence and frequently speaks on creating inclusive communities.
His appointment as Bishop was partly influenced by the input of local sixth-form students who judged sermons from the candidates.
