A 36-year Army veteran, he now leads the universitys unified division supporting over 3,100 military-affiliated students. He holds an MA from The United States Army War College and previously taught leadership at the university.
A Philadelphia native, he attributes much of his professional success to the incredible mentors he had throughout his career. He is deeply passionate about mentoring developing leaders and fostering a sense of community and shared experience among students, particularly non-traditional and veteran students, to help them achieve their potential.
Unique fact: Walt Lord began his distinguished military career by enlisting at the age of 17, eventually rising to the rank of Major General.
