Dr. Maria Aura Teodora C. Matias is a distinguished Professor at the University of the Philippines and an Academician at the National Academy of Science & Technology. With a PhD from Purdue University, her expertise spans industrial engineering, quality assurance, and human factors. She is a multi-awarded educator and a founder of the Philippine Ergonomics Society.
Outside her academic and advisory roles, she has a keen interest in the arts and personal hobbies. She enjoys traveling, singing, and cross-stitching.
