Maria Vazquez

She earned her Doctorate in Education from the University of Central Florida.
As the daughter of Cuban immigrants, her personal experience as a first-generation American fuels her passion for educations transformative power. Dr. Vazquez is active in her community, serving on several local boards, and finds her greatest joy in spending time with her husband, three children, and grandchildren.
Unique fact: She is the first Hispanic superintendent in the history of Orange County Public Schools.
