Mark Corrigan

Josh Shannon serves as the Editor for the Newark Post, overseeing the publications coverage of local news and community affairs. A University of Delaware alumnus with a degree in English, he has an extensive background in local media, previously holding the position of Research Director at Chesapeake Publishing. He is a multi-award-winning journalist.

As a lifelong Delawarean, Josh is deeply rooted in his community and resides in Newark with his wife and two children. He is a passionate supporter of University of Delaware athletics and is frequently involved in local events, reflecting his strong personal connection to the area.

He was named the Delaware Press Associations "Journalist of the Year" in 2011.
