Mark Lambird is the CEO and Chairman of the family-owned Eastbourne Motoring Centre Group, a multi-franchise dealership he joined in 1984. Under his leadership, the company has won national awards for customer service and sales. A former soldier, he was named Eastbournes Business Person of the Year in 2016 for his business acumen and leadership.
Mark is deeply embedded in the Eastbourne community, actively participating in and sponsoring numerous local charity events. He supports various causes, including the local Rotary Club, food banks, and chaplaincy services through fundraisers like golf tournaments and skittles competitions. His interests include The Economist and the Eastbourne Chamber of Commerce, reflecting his community focus.
He is a veteran of the British Armys elite 2nd Battalion, The Parachute Regiment, and served in the Falklands War.
