Mark Skobel

Mark Skobel is a veteran refinery executive, serving as Vice President & General Manager of Valeros Houston Refinery. His career began in 1977 and includes leadership roles at six Valero locations. He holds a Master of Science in Occupational Education from the University of Houston and is noted for his strong leadership skills.

Outside of his professional role, Mark is deeply involved in community service. He serves as the President of the Board for the Texas Energy Museum and has been active with organizations like the United Way and Junior Achievement. He and his wife, Jill, have two children and are active in their community.

He has successfully managed operations at six different Valero refineries across the United States.
