Martin Wiedmann
Login to view DISC.Martin Wiedmann is the Gellert Family Professor in Food Safety at Cornell University. With dual training as a veterinarian from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and a food scientist with a PhD from Cornell, he applies a comprehensive "farm-to-table" approach to prevent foodborne diseases caused by bacteria.
He serves as the co-director of the New York State Integrated Food Safety Center of Excellence and is a fellow of multiple scientific organizations, including the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).
His research team has published over 400 peer-reviewed articles on food safety and microbiology.
