With over fifteen years of experience in agriculture, community services, and waste management, he is a founding member of Bangalores Solid Waste Management Roundtable and a graduate of Bangalore University.
Marwan is a passionate environmentalist, foodie, and animal lover. His journey into waste management was driven by his love for street dogs, leading him to co-found projects like Stray Pals for street dog welfare. He also established an NGO with his siblings, The Golden Husk, which focuses on animal welfare and environmental issues.
His entry into waste management was inspired by a desire to resolve human-animal conflicts caused by garbage hotspots.
