Matt Gifford

Matt Gifford serves as the Vice President of Stadium Operations for the St. Louis Cardinals, overseeing all operations for Busch Stadium. His entire career has been with the Cardinals organization, where he started in ticket sales in 1996 and rose through the ranks, notably serving as the first-ever General Manager for the Springfield Cardinals for 13 years.

Outside of his executive duties, Matt is a St. Louis native, an avid golfer, and an Eagle Scout. He was deeply involved in the Springfield community during his tenure there, serving on various civic and charity boards. He and his wife, Emily, have a son and a daughter. He is also a former college baseball player at Indiana University.

Interesting fact: Matt was a starting center on the 1991 Missouri Class 4-A state champion high school basketball team at Parkway West High School.
