Matthew Burns is a retired U. S. Navy Rear Admiral with over three decades of leadership experience, from enlisted Navy SEAL to flag officer. He is the first to rise to this rank via the Seaman to Admiral program and now serves as a strategic advisor and a Senior Fellow at CNA Corporation, specializing in national security and innovation. He earned both bachelors and masters degrees from the Naval Postgraduate School.
