Matthew is the Director of Agriculture at Village of Hope, Zambia, and an Adjunct MBA Faculty at Bakke Graduate University, where he earned both an MBA and a Doctorate in Transformational Leadership. He previously served as CEO of Foundations for Farming, an organization that received a UN Partnership Award for its work.
Outside of his primary roles, Matthew is passionate about developing leaders and runs adventure-based experiential learning camps. A former collegiate rugby captain, he overcame a severe motorcycle accident which redirected his focus towards serving rural communities in Africa and empowering them through agriculture.
Interesting fact: After a career-ending injury, he was advised to have his leg amputated but chose not to, and has since completed a triathlon.
