Mauro Perez

Mauro is the Director of IT at Signature Automation, bringing over 25 years of experience in IT infrastructure, network design, and security. He specializes in integrating Information Technology (IT) with Operational Technology (OT) and SCADA systems for municipal and industrial clients. He is a subject matter expert in securing critical utility infrastructure.

Outside of his primary role, Mauro is dedicated to professional development and networking. He actively participates in industry conferences, such as the Texas Association of Governmental Information Technology Managers (TAGITM), to stay current on emerging technologies and connect with peers. He also has a long history of entrepreneurship, having served as president for multiple companies.

He has presented on niche technical topics like leveraging hyperconvergence for municipal server reliability and cybersecurity for wastewater utilities.
