Mark McCarthy is the founder and director of McCarthys Wildlife Sanctuary in West Palm Beach. A non-profit organization, the sanctuary is the culmination of his lifelong passion for rescuing animals, which started in his childhood. He now oversees the care and rehabilitation of over 200 native and exotic animals.

He lives on the 5-acre sanctuary property, personally caring for resident animals that include lions, tigers, and Florida panthers.
