Outside of her ventures, Melissa is a passionate advocate for female founders and promotes STEM education for young people. She enjoys long-distance running, snowboarding, and snorkeling. She is driven by a mission to create sustainable, inclusive, and impactful products that she personally believes in and would use herself.
She invented and patented the worlds first FDA and FSA-approved food 3D printer, which led to her creating a magic candy factory that could print personalized gummy sweets.
