Michael is a retired Fire Captain with a 24-year career at the City of Campbell River and is now the Regional Director for Métis Nation British Columbia. He has specialized training in fire science and emergency scene management from the Justice Institute of British Columbia.
Born and raised in Campbell River with Red River Métis roots, Michael is a husband, father, and grandfather. He is passionate about the outdoors and enjoys spending his personal time hunting and fishing on Vancouver Island.
