Michael Yip is an Associate Professor at UC San Diego, where he directs the Advanced Robotics and Controls Laboratory. His work, which has earned multiple best paper awards, focuses on surgical robotics, autonomous systems, and AI in healthcare. He holds a PhD in Bioengineering from Stanford University and is a co-founder of Channel Robotics.
