Dr. Mike Wilson is a Senior Lecturer and Associate Professor of Applied Respiratory Physiology at Imperial College Londons Faculty of Medicine. His work focuses on the pathophysiology of acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). He teaches on the Anaesthetics, Pain Medicine and Intensive Care stream for the MRes in Biomedical Research.
He has stated that the best part of his role is supervising student research projects, enjoying the process of seeing students develop from having no lab experience to designing and running their own experiments.
Dr. Wilson is passionate about developing the next generation of professional scientists, equipping them with the full range of skills needed for a research career.
