Milford Hodge

Milford Hodge is a former NFL defensive lineman who transitioned into a impactful, decades-long career as the Athletic Mentor Program Coordinator at his alma mater, Washington State University. A WSU alumnus and former All-Pac-10 player, he has dedicated his post-football career to guiding student-athletes, also serving as Chair of the Pullman Civil Service Commission.

Originally from California, where he was a multi-sport high school athlete in football and basketball, Milford is now semi-retired and deeply rooted in the Pullman community. He lives there with his wife, who works for the local school district, demonstrating a long-term commitment to the area beyond the university.

Unique fact: Milford was drafted into the NFL by the New England Patriots in 1985 and played professionally before returning to mentor young athletes.
