Originally from Lima, Peru, Monica is a passionate advocate for diversity in tech. She serves as the global leader for Intuits LatinX employee resource group and is on the Board of Directors for the House of Peru, a San Diego non-profit. She is deeply committed to increasing visibility and representation for the Latinx community.
She introduced Hacktoberfest at Intuit and helped design inclusive pathways for women to enter open source at the Grace Hopper Celebration.
