Nicholas Verney is the Managing Partner of Claydon Estate, overseeing the familys 5, 000-acre property, and serves as Chair for both the Business & Rural Economy and Environment Committees at The CLA. He holds a BSc in Rural Enterprise and Land Management from Harper Adams University and actively advocates for political support for rural business diversification.
Outside of his professional duties, Nicholas is a family man with two children. His personal interests include classic cars and he is also an amateur musician. He is a trustee of four family charities linked to the Claydon estate and supports various local community causes.
His familys estate, Claydon, has been in the Verney family since 1620 and has historic links to Florence Nightingale.
