Nicolle Backes

Nicolle Backes serves as a Procurement Supervisor for the State of Missouri, where she specializes in acquiring a wide variety of commodities, including technical items like furniture and portable buildings. She holds a Bachelors degree from Lincoln University and multiple professional awards for her service and dedication.

Outside of her procurement duties, Nicolle is focused on continuous improvement, having recently completed courses in succession planning and decision-making. She is certified in Mental Health First Aid, demonstrating a personal commitment to community wellbeing. She is also active in professional organizations, previously serving as a Scholarship Chair.

She is the 2023 recipient of the prestigious Linda D. Windsor Distinguished Service Award from the Missouri Association of Public Purchasing (MAPP).
