Nina is a PhD student at the University of Exeter and the founder of Black Women in Menopause. With over 28 years of experience in health and nutrition, she is a passionate advocate for addressing the cultural invisibility of Black women in menopause research, healthcare, and policy. She holds a PGCE from the University of Chester.
Described by colleagues as empathetic and dynamic, Nina is deeply committed to community health and creating safe spaces for shared experiences. To raise awareness and funds for her cause, she has run an ultramarathon. She serves on the board of a project supporting communities with chronic conditions.
She contributes to global and national standards for menopause in the workplace as a committee member for ISO and BSI.
